Both SK Gaming and fnatic had already qualified for the ESWC finals in San Jose when advancing from the semi-finals. The final should determine who would receive travel and accommodation and who should only get accommodation.
The grand final should be battled out on only one map, even though the semi-finals got played best of three maps. Never the less train as the scene for this grand final, taking place at DreamHack Summer in Jönköping, Sweden. The DreamArena was packed to the maximum with fans watching the final. fnatic’s very own James "2GD" Harding Joe "Joe" Miller should be shoutcasting the final for the fans.
